Product Description
Drillo #LOWCA Under-Nail Cleaning Carbide Bit
Achieve a cleaner, more professional finish from every angle with the Drillo #LOWCA Under-Nail Cleaning Carbide Bit.
A nail enhancement should look refined not only from above but also underneath the free edge. #LOWCA has been developed for accurate work beneath gel, acrylic, acrygel and other professionally constructed nail enhancements.
Its narrow working head helps remove excess material from underneath the nail, smooth the underside of the free edge and create a more regular, aesthetically finished tunnel. It is especially useful for eliminating the visible step that may remain after working with traditional nail forms or upper forms.
The bit can also be used for preliminary refinement of uneven areas on a constructed nail. The manufacturer recommends completing the final shape with a suitable hand file or sanding band after the initial e-file work.
Made from tungsten carbide, the bit is designed for professional salon work and fits e-file machines using a standard 2.35 mm shank. It has been tested for both right- and left-handed technicians.

Recommended Speed
The manufacturer gives the following tested working ranges:
- 5,000–15,000 RPM: for working on the step close to the fingertip
- 15,000–25,000 RPM: for cleaning underneath the nail and smoothing the surface
These values were tested using a MicroNX 300D 150W e-file machine. The appropriate speed may vary depending on the power of the machine, the product being removed, the technician’s experience and the condition of the nail enhancement.
Professional Tip
Use gentle pressure and allow the bit to do the work. Avoid forcing the head underneath the nail or holding it in one place, as this may generate heat or damage the enhancement.
Because the working head is narrow and precise, protect the bit from falls and impacts. The manufacturer warns that its small size makes it vulnerable to accidental damage if dropped.
